Last few Years Manipal University undertook various projects with Industries & also with in house educational institutions to develop products for the local needs. It was understood that learning and sharing the knowledge with others is essential for the long term sustainable projects. Partnering with Industries, hospitals and universities institutions is one of the key elements to take his program forward.

Establishing Multidisciplinary Innovation and development Centre (MIDC) eco-system has its unique significance for Manipal University. MIDC will bring together various platforms with the help of industry partners and with educational institutes, where students have an opportunities work with different disciplines in one umbrella and will do the proof of concept (PoC). These PoC will be further strengthened by bringing required disciplines & partners together towards product realization
